SUNEXPRESS FLIES INTO 2026 WITH FOUR NEW BOEING 737- 8 AIRCRAFT
SunExpress, the joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, is starting 2026 with the addition of four new Boeing 737-8 aircraft.
As part of SunExpress’ ongoing fleet modernization, four aircraft arrived in Antalya in January with the final one arriving today on the 29th January. Of these, three of the aircraft have already entered into service on the SunExpress route network, and the last one will be in service at the beginning of February.
These four aircraft are in addition to the five 737-8s that were delivered in 2025.
Thanks to their optimized fuel efficiency and reduced noise emissions, the new Boeing 737-8 aircraft are making a significant contribution to the modernization and efficiency improvements of the SunExpress fleet.
