Fly2Sky Leads the Way for new SMS/FDM Integration with TrustFlight and AeroSight

AeroSight, a leading software company specializing in Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), today announced the integration with TrustFlight Ltd. (TrustFlight), a technology innovator focused on digitization of the aviation industry, and its industry-leading SMS, QMS, and Risk platform, TrustFlight Centrik 5. The integration with AeroSight will enable flight departments to link FDM/FOQA events to safety reports and conduct root cause analysis within the Centrik safety and quality management system.

“We see FDM as an important component to a well-functioning SMS,” said Karl Steeves, CEO, TrustFlight. “Our customers have been seeking an integrated FDM system for their SMS for some time, and we’re keen to demonstrate the enhanced safety oversight, data-driven decision making, and improved compliance that comes with the pairing of our systems.”

The integration between TrustFlight and AeroSight will facilitate a seamless flow of critical flight data into the SMS, enabling deep analysis and proactive management of safety events that exceed set thresholds. This capability will enable operators to identify trends, manage risks, and implement corrective actions within tight timelines to ensure flight safety for passengers and crew alike.

“The integration with TrustFlight’s Centrik SMS and QMS platform saves time and reduces workload, ultimately improving the customer experience by allowing them to seamlessly enhance safety in their organisation,” said Milko Lorinkov, CEO, AeroSight. “We know that airline and business jet operators value safety above all else, and our partnership with TrustFlight enables operators to focus on what’s most important with a comprehensive solution.”

Prior to the integration, users were required to manually cross-reference or export FDM events into the SMS. The integration of AeroSight into Centrik streamlines this workflow, enhancing data accuracy and operational efficiency by automating the exchange of information.

The integration will be launched with joint TrustFlight and AeroSight customer, Fly2Sky, a Bulgarian passenger charter and ACMI aircraft operator based in Sofia, that flies Airbus A320-200 and A321-200 aircraft.

“We’re enthusiastic about utilizing the integration of Centrik and AeroSight to enhance our flight safety protocols,” said Capt Petar Lavrinov, Accountable Manager, Fly2Sky. “As a trusted partner for leading airlines in supporting their airline operations, this additional safety layer will strengthen our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of proactive safety in our operations.”
